Spotify halves listening time for free users from 20 to 10 hours per month

Spotify is to cut the amount of music its free users can listen to from 20 hours per month to 10 hours.

Free users will also be limited to just five plays of a song. After that they will need to buy the track or sign up to one of Spotify’s subscription services.

For those that are aware of the services of Grooveshark, I think there may be a decline in the number of Spotify active users.
